I found some little beaver sculptors with thier teeth marks on the wood at the river shore .
I loved this as the hanging dowel for this piece .
The symbolism of the rise of the Phoenix and the tenacity of the beaver to me held a personal powerful medicine and metaphor of rising above challenges. The power to transform and rebuild your life after tragedy.
